Organic Gardening
The Brown Trout stocks basic, earth-friendly organic fertilizers. We also have on hand a list of other soil amendments available through us. We even have Vegan fertilizers. You will be able to find an expanded inventory of books on gardening, flower arranging, water fe
atures in your own backyard, cooking and other fun and functional activities.
 
FOR YOUR GARDEN The Brown Trout has really expanded their garden area. In the tool department we have Circlehoes®, bypass loppers, bypass pruners, expandable rakes, tomato spirals, floral shovels, rose gloves, cast aluminum hand tools, gro-thru grids, compost bioactivator, diatomaceous earth (for creepy crawlies), Concern Insect Soap, soil test kits, Italian terra cotta pots and saucers, bird flash tape, soil scoops®, tool grip® gloves (price reduced), pruning saws, lever loops, plant tags & markers, and of course Renee's Garden® seeds. This is the short list-there's more. In the book department we have several garden books on ­ organic gardening, pruning, companion planting, composting, backyard habitat, birdfeeding, bird identification, shade gardening, Northwest gardening, bulb forcing, orchids, kid's garden books, and some beautiful coffee table books.

The Brown Trout will be carrying large clay vessels for patio water gardens. We have some very good books, pond plant fertilizer tabs, enzymes for keeping your pond clean & clear, and decorative accessories (floating baubles). Our Backyard Habitat department has expanded as well. We have many more feeders to choose from, and our price range includes some very affordable items. That goes for the birdhouses too. We have some cute decorative houses and a wide assortment of cedar bluebird, chickadee, flicker, owl, wren and BAT houses.
